I completely hated it as one of the worst songs of the 1990s up until three years ago when I finally went through the Oasis discography. Now I like it fine, aside from the lyrics.

Genesis’ “The Musical Box” took me a long time to appreciate; initial listens made me find it stodgy and prissy and boring. So did most of Pink Floyd’s “Dogs.”

When I first got King Crimson’s Red I thought the two songs with “Red” in the title were the clear highlights. Slowly but surely I’d come to prefer “Fallen Angel” and “Starless.”
