Sirius XMU station has been an exclusive Vampire Weekend channel since Friday and have played several cuts from the album (interspersed with their older releases and live-in-studio sessions) plus interviews with Ezra and the rest of the band. Their sound has gradually evolved since the first album on each release,I’d say they are less indie, more grandiose although still unmistakenly Vampire Weekend. Theyve added some string sections and some distortion on the guitars on some cuts on the new album , plus some of the choirs and female vocals that were prominent on Father of the Bride
