It does make more and more sense i guess if you look at the pop landscape. She is more of a unique figure than most pop stars out there which all sound the same as other artists of their genre. I guess Taylor is diverse enough to stand out as an entity of her own.. Who else is out there?

Beyonce - well i have no clue what her stuff sounds like anymore and you hear her name more than any music. I know they say that about Taylor too but there are some songs you can name and they sound a bit different.

Doja Cat? Same female rapper like Nikki Minaj and Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion etc. Nothing special or interesting about her to me but she has hits.

Ariana Grande? I find her voice uninteresting and her music hookless and bland for the most part but she has a hit song right now i guess.

Who else is there? More non distinct hip hop or female pop? None of that is interesting im sure to a majority of people oversaturated on the same shit and music in general now that anyone can easily listen to anything at any time for free or little money per month with Spotify.
