This was a cool 80s song that they actually did find out the performer of and name of, I listen to this one from time to time myself.

I think Echo and the Bunnnymen would have made that Most Mysterious song a lot more energetic, myself.
The vocals sound like a bunch of German guys who just learned English but still trying to sound German. Or maybe like Therion’s “The Crowning Of Atlantis,” I dunno.

Boy, THAT really narrows it down. Ken once posted a video clip of all the presets on the DX7 and mentioned that he could think of songs that used two thirds of them.

This has been a pretty good year for Internet mysteries finally being solved; in addition to “Ulterior Motives,” the location of the “Backrooms” was found (it was in WISCONSIN!) and Celebrity Number Six was identified too. So they’ll probably find out what The Most Mysterious Song is.
