It’s “BWELVE”? I pronounced it “bee-uhlv.” “Dycedarg” is certainly one of the goofier names in gaming history. I know that subsequent versions of FFT did a lot of correcting of this sort of thing (the original PS1 game had countless spelling/translation errors.). And yeah, FF8 was considered a big letdown by a lot of people back in the day.

I definitely remember, and probably still have the magazines for this, the bad reviews SaGa Frontier got. Square also got trashed back in their heyday for Bahamut Lagoon and, to a lesser extent, some of the Bushido Blade stuff. I should have mentioned that. Squaresoft were not invincible back then.
