My best way to describe Sandinista! is it’s a glorious mess.It came out while in college and played it quite extensively as with all the dubs, a fun party album . They throw everything but the kitchen sink at it with lots of filler.....hell its 2 1/2 hours long ! But if they drilled it down to a single album, it could rank as their best - think the quality is there. Some of my favorites are Lightning Strikes, Up In Heaven, Something About England, Charlie Dont Surf, The Call Up, Police on My Back, Magnificant Seven, Hitsville UK.....I like this one better than their next two.
