I think under 2 minutes should be the criteria. Anything after 2 mins seems kind of standard for mainstream rock pop songs.

Herman’s hermits - Henry the 8th (always thought this band was really cheesy but this is a charming song. it only repeats the same thing over and over but it’s cute and grew on me)

Beatles - wild honey pie

Nirvana - Tourettes (kind of silly and disposable track but they were an intense band and this is one of their most intense songs there is and i appreciate it for that)

Genesis - Horizons (great intro to Suppers Ready)

ozzy Osborne- Dee (solo Randy Rhodes track and I love the classical feel of this. one of those songs I have to hear at least a few times)

tons of minor threat (maybe I’d pick I Don’t Wanna Hear It)

tons of other great punk rock too - dead Kennedys in god we trust and Angry Samones “back from samoa” (steak knife or lights out) filled with good ones.
