He was really awesome from at least Parallel Lines on (I don’t think he was used all that great on those first two Blondie albums, but I’ve never been all that wild about either of those.)

I too would place him second best after Copeland.

RIP, would not have expected him to die before Debbie (who is 80 this year!)
