Late Night With The Devil - David Dastmalchian gets his own movie, huh. Could be good. The Ebert site review made it sound like it was worth a look.
Dune Part Two - Nearly fell asleep in the theater over this one. My impression of the final fight with Feyd Rautha would be to take two action figures and repeatedly hit them against each other back and forth until one breaks in half. If you put the new fight on a screen next to another screen playing the one from 1984, with the stupid Karate Kid poses and Sting yelling dumb lines and all, I’d end up watching that one.
Hit Man - Couldn’t Linklater have thought of a better title? I’ve been lax about watching his films since Everybody Wants Some, that one he did with Cate Blanchett disappeared after like a week never to be spoken of again. I’ll catch this at some point though, reviews were good.
Furiosa - I always try to see one summer movie a year and this is pretty much all that interested me…it tanked, right? So the theater would be completely empty? I like that. It’s hilarious that this tanked even with George Miller directed while Will Smith makes $56 million at the box office, just goes to show y’never can tell.
