Yeah i remember it being brought up when i was a kid cus my sister was the only one of my siblings who didnt get chickenpox by kindergarten and she has some medical stuff that would have made her more vulnerable if she got it later in life so my family tried to make her get it by getting her to hang out with other kids who had it. never worked though and eventually when she was older she just got a vaccine.
nobody called them “parties” though.
