I replaced my 27” 1080p monitor with a 36” 1080p 60Hz TV that I wasn’t really using. This is especially ideal for YouTube TV, movies, and video games and I’m not going back. The graphics card I’m looking at is supposed to be really good for 1440p displays at a high (~150Hz) refresh rate.

Do they make TVs at 1440 resolution? I might be forced to get a 4K TV provided the refresh rate is high enough and they make them small enough to fit on my desk.

I have the video over HDMI to my TV and line-out audio going to my stereo.
