Index > Another list to argue about

I like Mother. I probably like it more than Every Breath You Take. It’s a novelty song that doesn’t fit the album, and I used to hate it, so I can see including it, I can even see why it’s #1, but it doesn’t deserve to be.
I think that We Will Fall sounds cool, but it goes on way too long.
As a Neil Young fan, I appreciate the inclusion of There’s a World and Mother Earth.
I don’t get people’s outright hate for Don’t Pass Me By (let alone BD’s hate for She’s So Heavy) and concur with Bungalo Bill, one of the worst choruses on any great album. RS can fuck themselves over the other Beatles’ picks though. She’s Leaving Home has always been my least favorite on Sgt. Peppers, but I wouldn’t include it here and I know that people like it.
Ballad in Plain D isn’t very good, but the album before it had like 5 songs that were worse on it, FWIW.
Rainy Day Woman is the hottest of hot takes. It’s one of his most played live songs, it’s on Greatest Hits Volume 1, and it’s a radio staple. I know that some people hate it, and it’s not really one of my favorite Dylan songs, but still.
The other song from this list that I’ve heard on the radio & that I know was on compilations is Squeeze Box, but that is certainly also a widely mocked song. It’s not from a “great album” either. Looking it up, it’s been back in their live rotation since 2014.
Other “most classic songs” on the list that I missed?
I think that the Use Your Illusion albums are great, but there’s enough worthy stuff amidst the bloat (including songs I like that would have probably been cut if it was only one album) to grant them classic status anyway, and I therefore approve of the inclusion of My World, one of the worst songs on an albums that’s even pretty good.
FX is stupid, but at least it makes the transition to Supernaut more satisfying. But that’s not my reason for thinking that it should no be included. My reason for thinking that it should not be included is that it’s on the same album as Changes, which is alot harder to shrug off.
