It had a real recording session, but it only had three studio songs. The rest are live versions of songs they’d done before. Also, because everyone hated each other, they were each responsible for contributing one song. The only one people really care about is Clapton’s contribution, Badge, and it was co-written (probably mostly written) by George Harrison. It sounds more like a George Harrison song than a Cream song.
