if one were to ever make a movie about Pink Floyd, I hope they’d make it about the 1968-72 period where they kept fidgeting around trying to figure out what the hell to do.

you just know when they get around to actually doing the floyd movie it’s going to be something to do with syd and have the moment when he appears in the studio while theyre recording “shine on” be a key dramatic scene.

I dont think ive ever listened to never mind the bollocks in full before. dont hate the big songs from it, and i find the bands history to be pretty compelling, but theres plenty of punk id rather listen to. Likewise with Harvest, never been the biggest Neil fan to begin with but there’s enough of his stuff out there i’d reach for before id get around to spinning this one. the hits are good, if overplayed (or maybe ive just heard too many bad cover versions).

Sound Affects is the only Jam album I really was into in a big way. Been a very long time since i played it though. “Thats entertainment” still strikes me as one of the great pop-rock songs of it’s era though.
