Features I’m considering

I’ve been thinking about a few features that I think might improve the Babble experience and want to get some feedback.
- Upvotes/likes - These wouldn’t be tied to an algorithm or anything. More of an acknowledgement of a post and a light way to encourage posts that people like
- A “recent replies” view so you can see the latest updates, even if a reply is to a post that’s really deep down
- Possibly hiding replies that are deeper than X levels for the sake of formatting (the recent replies tab and the post page would still show them)
- Different Babbles for other topics - a link to a few other categories at the top of the post feed like “Movies/TV”, “Books”, “Politics”. Although honestly I feel like this probably isn’t necessary for how small the forum is
I’ve also got a backlog of fixes to work on for added polish- thanks to Tabs for pointing most of these things out :-)
Any thoghts on the above ideas?

No Babbles for different topics (very anti-Babble spirit) or downvotes. All else ✓ (nt) -
