I don’t know if emphysema-ridden Lynch has it in him to do a fourth season, so maybe we should just be grateful with the third, which at this point I consider better than the original series (though not better than the original pilot.) I know hints have been dropped, but I’m not holding my breath. If we don’t get a fourth season, then TP ends with the original timeline being erased, a rebuke to ABC who insisted on the identity of Laura’s killer being revealed when Lynch and Frost didn’t want to.
The correct answers as to whom CN6 was, and who the Mysterious Song was, were so obscure that people close to the “right answers” had to tell them–in the case of CN6, the big clue was that some of the other celebrities on the curtain were cast members of Lost, so it was digging through old clips with cast members of Lost that they found Leticia Sarda in some of them, then contacted a photographer who had taken pictures of her, and found the original photo, which was in a supplement to a European fashion magazine around 2006 or so, IIRC. (Sarda had quit modelling years ago and had retired to be a waitress and mom living in Tenerife, and most people thought that CN6 was Evangeline Lilly from Lost at first.)
