Man, I’m so bad at seeing new films. Have a (trans) friend who absolutely loved ISTTVG and I got Covid when I was planning to see it, though now I feel like I’ll be lukewarm on it. All my queer friends went to see Love Lies Bleeding when I was out of town and they all were super into it.

I did go out to a local theater that does regular free mystery screenings, you only find out the movie a minute before it starts. Last night it was Dynamite Don-Don, a Japanese comedy where a post-war crackdown on yakuza violence during the American occupation results in the various yakuza setting up a baseball tournament. They play pretty violent baseball. This movie is 2 hours and 20 minutes long.
