gotta say it left me somewhat baffled, but thats still one of the best sci-fi titles ever. iirc it was supposed to have a sequel, but the AIDS epidemic killed a lot of his friends who he had based characters on, and he couldn’t bring himself to finish it.
I watched the one Moorcock adaptation out there, The Final Programme. It’s nearly incomprehensible but very entertaining, and does not take itself seriously at all.
