I think White Light/White Heat is masterful but whether I actually enjoy it depends on how I’m feeling about “The Gift” and “Lady Godiva’s Operation”. Those two tracks make or break the album; if I’m not feeling them, I’ll never even get to “Sister Ray” (which if you dislike you’re a bad person btw – a lot of Suicide in there.)
