The Cars debut - I have realized that I have never heard any of the deep cuts on this thing, which are very minimal. Most of this whole album has been overplayed for years, up there with Dark Side. All Mixed Up is an epic closer but I’m In Touch With Your World was a really great discovery. Honestly don’t remember hearing that song but it is hilarious, weird and catchy. Kind of scanned their other albums after this that I have not really heard before. The next 2 seem interesting until they turn total dinky synth pop.

B-52s “Mesopotamia” - okay I didn’t realize David Byrne produced this either. Awesome weird grooves mixed with the B 52s style. Very cool

Smashing Pumpkins - Adore - sad, slow, sluggish but ultimately very underrated and emotional. I love this one)

Steely Dan - The Royal Scam - Seems to be the most musically varied thing in the whole catalog for them. Haitian Divorce is one of my faves. Sounds like the Dan doing reggae.

Radiohead “Amnesiac” - just revisiting and I still love most of the songs.

other random listens

Jack White - Boarding House Reach
Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie
Unicorns - 2014
