That Double Vision riff in the AVGN episode sounds better than the original, it’s a good example of “Foreigner sounds like a bunch of session men.”

I bought the first Bad Company album on vinyl for a few dollars because I liked the title track and Prindle gave it a 10, it’s the only album by any of the bands in the previous post that I’ve ever bought. I liked the first Boston album, which I have on vinyl because my dad had it, at one time. I’d have lost interest in it well over 20 years ago anyway, but regardless it’s one of those albums where I remember every song being in heavy rotation on classic rock radio so there’s no reason to spin it. It’s probably the best thing done by any of those slick late-70s AOR bands though. I guess it makes sense, since it spawned them.
