Is there someplace local you can just take it to figure out what’s going on? There was a computer repair place down the street from me that was just one guy (I think) in a little building, and I remember that he wouldn’t charge you if he couldn’t help. Unfortunately, I just recently noticed that they closed.

I’ll have to get my stuff fixed before whenever you eventually start Avernum II. Or just get a new computer, since I need to do that in the next 5 months or so anyway.
