Hendrix is one of those massive names that I’ve just never really cared for, like Led Zeppelin or Neil Young, but basically for me the singles are smash and the album tracks are trash. (Not really, there are good album tracks, I was just going for the wordplay.) I heard this version of “Hey Joe” before the Hendrix:
