but if I did, I’d probably just glom onto old NES/SNES/N64 franchise games and play those.

My favorite thing about being into emulators in the late 90s, aside from the NESticle readme file, was this one site that had about 700 SNES ROMs, but kept moving around and changing its name. I think it was called “Irsangla.” Happy hunting. I’m not surprised to learn that it’s still sketchy.
