Well you can save your game so that you can escape and then restart and go talk to Erika.

I dunno, I like playing with the sound. I played Exile on Windows, but the Mac versions of the first two games had music. I remember hearing it. It was the same music the entire time.

I don’t remember it, but apparently the first game had (a probably MIDI-ish version of) Bach’s Fugue in G minor

Re your complains, some of those are too small to bother me, and I strongly disagree that it would be better if the teleportation pylons worked before you saw them once. It would take away some of the sense of exploration.

I’ve never played Nethergate, but the editor was always part of Exile/Avernum.
