You need the Demonslayer to kill Garzhad. I don’t remember what the Blessed Athene does in that game. the Orb makes you fly, so you’ll need it to pass some obstacles, but I forget where.

The other quest is the destroy the teleportation augmentor that the Empire will need to use to bring in troops faster and make the war unwinnable for Avernum.
