Was just wondering if Duane Eddy was still alive a few weeks ago. Be had some cool sounding songs back in the day. Love his guitar tone.

I listen to the 50s station on XM once in awhile and i laugh when they play some of Boones early hit covers of black r&b artists. Definitely the definition of “white washed”.. theyre so dorky and sanatized for the era compared to the originals. I dont mind some of his other hits though - “Bernadene” and “Why Baby Why” and Love Letters in The Sand.

Totally forgot he did that metal album. Had to be one the first modern kind of “memes” ever with that cover.
