Hey, I hadn’t played Avernum 2 in about a week and put in two hours this afternoon. I’ve got crown clearance, so I assume I can ignore most side quests and work toward the three endings? I can’t find the ways to win in a quick Google search, but I assume they’re

• Recover the three crystal souls;
• Destroy the Empire Portal, and
• Kill the half-demon imperial commander-in-chief.

I got the soul in Pyrog’s lair but haven’t returned it to the Vahnatai yet. King Micah wants me to recover two of them to get the Demonslayer, so next would be to go to Erika’s Tower and ask about the others, I guess. Maybe go west of Fort Remote and get the Orb of Thalni. I also have almost the entire northwest of the map to explore.

I was worried about getting into the occupied lands since you can’t get there from the Great Cave, even with all the passes. It was clever to have a particular way in, out of the way in the Northern Isles.
