This album rules. I know it isn’t mid 2000s-babble anymore when a power pop album this great comes out and nobody here is talking about it.
Lemon Twigs have gradually been turning into the best power-pop duo since Jellyfish and I am so here for it. Their first couple records were pretty spotty, but last years “Everything Harmony” was fantastic and this new one is even better.

Pretty much all their stuff is 60/70ss pastiche, but the songwriting, melodies, chords, and (especially) harmonies are glorious. I love how they mostly pull from Friends/Sunflower-era Beach Boys for their BBs influence. But the fingerprints of loads of other influences are easy to spot. Good shit my friends.
