I wasn’t familiar so I listened to the Criminology podcast. In the 1980s two brothers were living there together, and some guys broke in and brutally beat and robbed them. However, the brothers pointed out to the police that all of their money always had a really strong smell because their barn always stunk really badly. So the police put that information out there, and a used care dealer who had previously sold them a car remembered exactly what they were talking about, because they paid him in cash and the money smelled really bad. When the criminals bought a car from him and paid with the same stinky money, he reported it to the police and they were caught. Huh??? Is that…true?
