I hold it as an item of faith that he might be an interesting director–all I saw of his was that stinking turd Suspiria remake, one of the worst films I’ve seen in the last ten years that was made by someone trying to be ambitious as hell.

Do we need this? Are people just tired of quoting the original or something? It’s fucking weird to think I’m now at an age where films from my own youth are already old enough to be remade, because most of them don’t seem that old to me.
