I’m off today and tomorrow and I even skipped the soaps today to watch coverage of Signalgate while waiting for my weed and I am loving it. Both the weed and what has become in the last twelve hours while you were at work has mushroomed into a major scandal that could bring down Hegseth, Gabbard, the national security advisor, too and has stopped Donald Trump’s momentum in its tracks (the appeals court smacked him down too with the deportation flights).

It’s been great seeing the officials and press secretary bimbo try to spin and defend this. First, the mission was a success despite the adding, so it doesn’t matter. Then it wasn’t classified, so it doesn’t matter. After Jeffrey Goldberg released the transcript showing forces with precise times, they were attack plans, nor war plans. So it didn’t matter.

And that’s what you missed. I’m now binging MSNBC prime time while smoking weed and eating Farm Rich potato skins, sitting on an electric blanket over an armchair on high with a dog by my side.

How stupid do they think we are? The more they keep digging the deeper the hole is going to get. They’ve kept giving this oxygen throughout the day and are keeping it alive for yet another day/news cycle. This is worse crisis management than I thought possible by professionals. Nobody’s taking charge or accountability. The president is MIA. And it’s delicious.
