My Aim Is True is Elvis Costello best album. It’s a toss up between This Year Model and the debut. The debut has the best melodies while This Year Model has the best riff and arrangement.
I think My Aim Is True is great from The Beatles perspective and This Year Model is great from The Rolling Stones perspective

FFS Webcast is pretty great
I think this confirms that FFS album symbolises the new era of Sparks as the “synthesis” era combining the rock group/dance pop-electronic/minimalism era
The live arrangement of No. 1 In Heaven and When Do I Get Do Sing My Way with the rock group backing playing a disco rhythm guitar strumming emphasises this and Sparks maintain the same arrangement from the FFS era to this current date when performing the songs. There were also interesting Spark-esque version of Franz Ferdinand songs. Piano intro in Do You Want To, synth pop version of Michael was interesting as well
