Had one but lost the stereo when i moved cus it was an extremely old and absolutely enormous one from the 80s that was super impractical was gradually falling apart with several broken components and took up way too much space (including the massive speakers it took up almost an entire wall in my old house and I dont have space for that in a one bedroom apartment). My record player is actually pretty decent and only like 4 or 5 years old. but it is currently connected to nothing.
So not only can i not play any records I own, but I also cant play any CDs either (my only speakers are my computer speakers and my computer doesn’t have a disc drive). So i just have a couple big shelves containing my collection of cds and records (and also some dvds/blurays) that I cant play. It saves me money since I’m rarely ever tempted to buy new cds and lps, but also it’s kind of a shame if people come over, look at my records and then we can’t play them.
