I watched it after seeing someone I knew from his writing and commenting on various movie blogs about how he wished Arthur Penn had stayed away from the Western genre, but that Night Moves was one of his favorite movies of the 1970s. So I guess that put in my head that it was a classic. I don’t know how much more I’ve read about it, but I was definitely on board with it.

I was not wild about Punch Drunk Love, but that movie is popular enough that I’m not surprised.
