Index > Every Metallica riff not written by Hetfield > I hadn't done the best at keeping track of that

I think I should have been able to guess “Jump In The Fire” wasn’t Metallica.
Well Jump In the Fire was written by Metallica when Dave was in the band.
“Trapped Under Ice” is a dull song. My least favorite on RTL by far.
Do you like Escape? I remember reading that Hetfield thought that was their worst song (I don’t know when he said that, but I read it in the 90s.)
I don’t hate Ice but it’s certainly lesser classic Metallica, one of the weaker ’80s songs. However, hard disagree on Disposable Heroes, I love that one.
BTW the video says he wrote “Of Wolf And Man” but it’s “My Friend Of Misery” we’re hearing.
Kirk is credited on Of Wolf and Man, Jason on My Friend of Misery. The video shows Kirk, but if the song is wrong then presumably they’re still playing the non-Hetfield part, so it’s Jason.
I like Death Magnetic but I’m not really familiar with the two after it.
And shouldn’t Lindsey Buckingham be credited with “Hero Of The Day”?
Or Toni Iommi with Bleeding Me? I like that song, but it always sounded like Electric Funeral.
When I relistened to Reload a couple years ago I thought that it was better than I remembered. I was kinder to Load than I had been for a long time as well. Load/Reload is an example where I actually am confident that they would have picked the better songs if they’d pared it down to one CD.
