It's hard to say whether or not people cared about "Femme Fatale"

Ebert handed it a glowing four star rating but he has always been kind to Brian De Palma, he wasn’t even hard on turds like Bonfire Of The Vanities and Mission To Mars. Most other critics were lukewarm to disgusted.

The thought of people going to theaters to see Domino is hilarious. That movie was a zero from beginning to end. Just worthless tossed off crap. Possibly his worst, at least the other two I mentioned were halfway ambitious.

Re: Paul, the last time people cared about De Palma was in 1996 with Mission: Impossible, which is, when you think about it, kind of a weird gig for him to have, even as hired gun. I don’t think the public cared about Mission To Mars or The Black Dahlia. Redacted got shredded and I don’t know another person besides myself who saw Passion.

It is stunning that Ridley keeps cranking them out at his age, but are any of these movies good, or just good looking? The same question could be asked of his entire oeuvre.
