I pretty much enjoy Loveless and similar stuff in a similar way I do with ambient music these days. I like getting lost in the cool sonic textures. and that’s the main reason I listen. the fact that there are decent songs buried in there is a nice bonus for sure, but it’s not the point of that music for me.
Generally I prefer lighter sonic textures sounds than what most shoegaze offers, but its still nice every once in a while.
