The whole murky, dreamy sound, unclear vocals is an impediment for me to be fan of the the first two My Bloody Valentine album.
However I give both album a pass mark because there are enough fundamental songwriting elements that I enjoy.
I probably give Isn’t anything 3 stars (I like the first half, the second half lesser so) and Loveless 3.5 stars (I would much prefer the album be performed by U2 rather than the shoegazing aesthetic. I could imagine some of the song be great if it sounds normal)
