“Even Flow,” “Jeremy,” “Black,” “Black Hole Sun,” “Man In The Box,” “Rooster,” “Lithium”…lots of stuff by the Big Four, along with Smashing Pumpkins, Stone Temple Pilots, and even the odd Collective Soul. All that by 2000.
They sometimes added new stuff by classic hard rock bands into the playlists around here at the time. When Geddy Lee’s solo album came out in 2000 I heard “My Favorite Headache” and “Grace To Grace” from it on classic rock stations quite a bit.
“Class rock” sounds stupider than any other term discussed in this thread.
On a more positive political note, Susan Crawford won Wisconsin. Fuck Elon Musk.
