I listened to Schumann’s piano quartet (not quintet) for the first time last night (stoned to the gills) and that andante is really something, the kind of tune I haven’t heard in quite a while after scooping up the lower-hanging fruit many years ago. The Warsaw Concerto is popular and I think is supposed to be likr that, but I think some people find it “sounds like Rachmaninoff” schlock. Do you have an opinion? I haven’t heard it.
