The Schumann is one of the great chamber works. Total masterpiece. The Warsaw Concerto was written for a film and it was intended to sound like Rachmaninov. It’s kitsch but well above average for that sort of thing. I think even Rach would have liked that lyric theme. It’s a great tune.
