Believe it or not The Strokes are still going and released their latest album a few years ago. Im sure still touring too. Not really sure if most people care about them besides fans anymore but they receive decent airplay these days, surprisingly. I think Is This It was ranked in the top 100 albums somewhere on the list by Apple Music recently.

I liked some of the songs on Zaireeka but it is mostly songs not very developed and mostly about a bunch of random sounds and weirdness. Have had no real interest to hear it the intended way either though. Was a hassle back then and would be even worse of one to this day not really worth it. I can understand anyone just skipping over the whole album completely. It is just weird that the Soft Bulletin songs were also from basically the same sessions as Zaireeka
