He was a really good guy, I thought–pretty insightful on various matters, called himself libertarian but didn’t seem like a Randroid or any other insane type, and was friendly to me. I haven’t kept up with him though since the Twitter debacle, but it was a fairly stupid debacle, IMO.
But yeah, by the time his prog rock book came out, he’d long since been gone from this place; if he’d published it when he was posting at Babble somebody here probably would have bought a copy, that Chris Willie Williams guy did an album under the name Disclaimer and I never got around to hearing it.
