I felt the same way when i relistened to the first 2 Big Star records last year, especially the first one. Some of those songs are so beautiful of that teenage stary-eyed variety and it is very strange that they didnt have at least Thirteen as a hit single..or El Goodo.. Doesnt make sense at all but then again im sure since the 80s people have been baffled how that record went nowhere. The 2nd is slightly weirder i suppose but still could have been mainstream.

Ah yeah, Moonlight Serenade. Heard it many times on movies or tv or whatever. Definitely a classic 40s pick.
