I hate the “more replies” thing too.

I think what’s stuck with me most about Elon is John Oliver calling him “The world’s first edgelord billionaire.” I mean, people on the left thought he was going to solve climate change seven years ago.

Steve Jobs was a terrible father too, but the whole woman-trouble thing has got to be a huge thorn in the side for Elon, a guy so many right wingers have been looking up to in the last couple years. And since Elon’s public life in the last couple years has been a repeat-cycle of the bit in The Master where Philip Seymour Hoffman is unable to defend his beliefs against a guy and yells “pig fuck!!! ” as loud as he can.

I think climate change will be the greatest struggle humanity will ever face, I think it is very much real, and that the mascot for fighting it is a spoiled, scowling teenage girl who yelled at some people at a conference isn’t something I find terribly endearing.
