It’s been ages since I heard it but I remember Giant Steps didn’t do much for me when I checked it out long ago. Maybe a revisit would change that. Have you heard the band Moose? They’re some very nice shoegazey pop/rock music. Only 4 albums and some random EPs and they’re all quite solid.

Waka Jawaka is cool because it doesnt have any singing, and I’m kinda coming to the conclusion that a large portion of Zappa’s music would be much better if the vocals were wiped out completely.

The Tubes S/T is alright. Remote Control is definitely their best though. I like that one a lot.
