I’ve downloaded either Heretic or Hexen, I don’t remember which. I think they’re very similar. Whichever one it was, the screenshots looked ace. I like the fantasy/horror influence better than space demons.

I’ll boot it up today after the soaps. I haven’t properly played a game in some time and this would be a cool day to set aside for it. I intend to beat Doom today. I don’t necessarily love it; it’s on this list because it was notable, value-neutral, like Hitler being Man of the Year. Not that Doom is Hitler; you know what I mean.

Modern releases of Doom are conmpatible with the Xbox 360 controller. It’s fantastic.
