have any of us not done that while awaiting trial for double murder?

I wonder if his lawyers told him that it was a good idea.

He wasn’t into Odinism. Early on there was a theory that sticks on the bodies were connected to Odinism, but that was later rejected by the investigators, and but then became the defenses alternate theory of the crime. Interesting that the defense used both a Satanic Panic-style alternate theory of the crime, and had to argue that he made 60 false confessions, which is reminiscent of people who were falsely accused during the Satanic Panic.

Stuff like that Chuck Berry story makes me not want to read rockstar biographies.
