I think Solberg’s key opens the magic barrier, unless there’s the gate with the key and the barrier you need to dispel and I’m getting confused. I can tell you where to find lvl 3 dispel barrier, let me know.

The brooch you should have gotten from the Spiral Crypt is the pearl brooch, so if you don’t have that in your inventory you need to go back. It’s on a body.

I’m happy to keep giving you hints. Tbh, there are some I have to look up, but I don’t mind (for example, I knew you were supposed to find a brooch in the Spiral but couldn’t remember which one). Sometimes in games when I get stuck and resort to using guides, I find out extra spoilers I didn’t want, so since I’ve played the whole game I don’t mind doing a little reference for you if it will make your playthrough more fun. I’m a longtime fan of the franchise and am glad to know someone else is enjoying it for the first time.
